This is something Squarespace will do for you. SPOD will never communicate directly with your customers. When an order is shipped, SPOD informs Squarespace about this and they will automatically send the mail to your customer. You can find more information on this topic here: Squarespace - Order emails.
You can see and edit your shipping confirmation email by going to your Squarespace Dashboard:
- Go to Commerce on the left-hand side menu.
- Under Notification, click on Customer Notification.
- Select General Orders.
- Go to Order Fulfilled.
In case you place manual orders that do not feature your customers' email addresses, you can always find the shipped orders in your SPOD App under Orders or in your Commerce section in Squarespace, under Orders. Within the order detail page, you will find a tracking URL (for all tracked orders) that you can share manually with your customers.
