Previously, if you had multiple print areas (and multiple designs) on a particular product, it wouldn’t look aesthetically pleasing in your Shopify store. The various designs would be listed as full images, requiring your customers to sort through a long list of thumbnails to fully gauge the completed product.
Well, thanks to our newest feature, we’ve made this display a whole lot neater, providing you with the refinement and organization that you’re surely seeking. If you activate our “Display Additional Print Area” feature, a product’s designs will be displayed as an overlay/thumbnail.
To enable this function, you’ll want to visit your SPOD settings. On the bottom of the page, you’ll find the “Display Additional Print Area” section. Click “Activate” to add this function to your Shopify store.
If you activate this feature, these additional print areas will be displayed as overlays. If the feature is inactive, the additional print areas will be synchronized as the standard full images. Regardless of which option you choose, the images will be added/deleted automatically, meaning there’s no additional work for you.
While SPOD supports most of Shopify’s free themes, there’s a still a chance that your store’s interface may look a bit odd following the activation of this function. When you install the app, we’ll check to make sure that this feature is compatible with your theme; if it is, the feature will automatically be activated.
If it isn’t compatible, it will remain inactive. There’s no need to worry, though; just because the feature isn’t compatible, it doesn’t mean it can’t be activated. Rather, just be aware that some cosmetic portions of your Shopify store may be impacted.
